2025 "Carols of Christmas" - Nov. 30

Salina Chorale 2025 "Carols of Christmas" Concert - Nov. 30 at 4 p.m.

We appreciate the enthusiastic audience who attended our 2025 “Carols of Christmas.” This was the Salina Chorale’s 2nd Christmas concert with director, Keri Boley, and our very first concert with our collaborative pianist, Dr. Gustavo Do Carmo. 


This festive celebration took place on Sunday, November 30 at 4:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N. 9th Street, Salina, KS — just after the Thanksgiving holiday. And if you missed this performance, ask anyone who attended how wonderful it was. 


With 60+ singers from the Salina Chorale and musicians, this year’s concert featuref an uplifting and varied selection of sacred, classical, and spirited holiday music. The program included:

  • O Come, O Come, Emmanuel (Elaine Hagenberg), an inspiring piano and cello opening
  • The complete Missa Festiva (Festival Mass), with soloists
  • I Wonder as I Wander (a cappella, arranged by Mack Wilberg)
  • Rise Up, Shepherd, and Follow — a jazz arrangement by Mark Hahn
  • Wexford Carol (arranged by Elaine Hagenberg) 
  • A fun, festive rendition of Jingle Bells
  • …and more exuberant selections to lift your holiday spirit!


After the concert, we invited everyone to stay and enjoy a cookie reception generously provided by the gracious bakers of Sacred Heart Cathedral. More than 1,000 cookies awaited our guests, the singers and the musicians. 


Admission was:  

  • Adults: $15
  • Students: $10


Doors opened at 3:15 p.m. on November 30 for at-the-door admittance fees and seating 


We hope you’ll be back next year for our 2026 "Carols of Christmas" concert and that you will invite your family and friends to join you for this musical celebration a part of your holiday tradition. To all of you we say, “Thank you for coming and letting the spirit of the season shine in you, through the power of our songs!”  Merry Christmas!  

Salina Chorale 2026 Spring Concert - Mar. 22

Our 2026 Spring Concert - Sunday, March 22 at 4 p.m.

The 2026 spring concert, guided by our new music director Keri Boley, will be performed on a Sunday afternoon, March 22, at 4 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral  in downtown Salilna, KS.

Tickets will be available from Salina Chorale members until a specific date prior to the concert, and then pay admission at the venue on concert day just before the concert. Adults are $15, Students are $10.

The symphony chorus will involve singers from the Salina Chorale and KWU. .

2025 Salina Symphony "Christmas Festival" - Dec. 13 & 14

We enjoy singing for this beloved community holiday tradition, now presented every other year.

The next Salina Symphony Christmas Festival concerts (with Salina Chorale members in the symphony chorus) will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 and 4 p.m. Sunday Dec. 14, 2025 (confirmed).


wThe 2025 Salina Symphony "Christmas Festival" concert performances will be performed in the Steifel Theatre for the Performing Arts in downtown Salina, KS. Members of the Salina Chorale will serve as the symphony chorus during the first half of this concert, and with the KWU Chorale at the grand finale. 


Please join us to celebrate the joy of the season, with the Salina Symphony, and dancers from local dance schools, and more.

2026 Salina Choral Festival

Salina Choral Festival - Monday, March 2, 2026 (time to be announced)

The Salina Choral Festival is a celebration of choral music, and since 2023 featuring the choirs of area high schools, Kansas Wesleyan University, and the Salina Chorale.


Salina Chorale is honored to have participated in this celebration of choral music. and to present two songs to inspire younger singers to continue to enjoy singing choral music throughout their lives. 


The 2026 Salina Choral Festival will be performed on Monday evening, March 2, 2026, at a time to be announced, returnin for a second year to Sams Chapel, in historic Pioneer Hall on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.  

Salina Symphony - Beethoven's Ninth Symphony

Serving in the chorus with KWU singers for the Salina Symphony

The Salina Symphony will present Ludwig van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Salina and in Hutchinson in early May 2026. Serving as the symphony chorus will be singers from the Salina Chorale and from the KWU Philharmic Choir.  Performancss will be Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fox Theatre in downtown Hutchinson, KS, and Sunday, May 3, at 4 p.m. at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts in Salina, KS. 


Tickets will be made available through the Salina Symphony office and the Fox Theatre office..
