UPCOMING SALINA CHORALE PERFORMANCES
SPRING 2025
The Salina Chorale has performed two choral pieces at the Salina Choral Festival for the past two years, and may be involved again in 2025. The possible date could be Monday, March 3, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts. More details are given below.
Our next full concert by the Salina Chorale will be our Spring 2025 concert, which we will present in the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts on Sunday, March 23, 2024, at 4 p.m., under the leadership of our new music director, Keri Boley.
It's an earlier spring concert performance date than we have typically had in the past, but this date accommodates the busy schedules of both the Stiefel Theatre and our director, who is in charge of the choral program at Southeast of Saline Jr. and Sr. High School in Gypsum, Kansas.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY 2025
Later in 2025, we will present our next "Carols of Christmas" concert at Sacred Heart Cathedral. One potential date is Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025. Date and time to be determined.
And in mid-December 2025, we will again serve as members of the Symphony chorus for their two Christmas Festival concert on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
2025 Salina Choral Festival
Salina Choral Festival - 7 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025
The Salina Choral Festival is a celebration of choral music, and since 2023 featuring the choirs of area high schools, Kansas Wesleyan University, and the Salina Chorale.
Salina Chorale is honored to have participated in this celebration of choral music. and to present two songs to inspire younger singers to continue to enjoy singing choral music throughout their lives.
The 2025 Salina Choral Festival will be performed on Monday evening, March 3, at 7 p.m. in the fully renovated Sams Chapel, in historic Pioneer Hall on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.
Salina Chorale 2025 Spring Concert
Our 2025 Spring Concert - Sunday, March 23, 2025
The 2025 spring concert, guided by our new music director Keri Boley, will be performed on Sunday, March 23, at 4 p.m. in the Steifel Theatre for the Performing Arts in Saliina, Kansas.
Our concert will be titled Water and Life. As usual, the program will be in two parts. The first half will feature songs about Water, and we will explore a range of styles: pop, folk, show tunes, spirituals, novelty songs, and more serious choral pieces. We will include the arrangement of "The River" (by Garth Brooks) that we performed for our 2018 spring concert, along with a new arrangement of "Moon River."
The second half of our concert will focus on Life. Again, we will showcase a variety of styles. All of the songs in this section hold special memories of our director's mother, who passed away suddenly last May. These pieces were chosen because they were inspired by her.
Tickets will be available from Salina Chorale members until the Monday before the concert, and then pay in the Stiefel Theatre lobby on concert day just before the concert. Adults are $15, High School Students are $10, and younger children are admitted free!

We are blessed to have performed our past six Salina Chorale "Carols of Christmas" concerts have been presented at Sacred Heart Cathedral in downtown Salina, KS. And again in 2025, we will return to Sacred Heart Cathedral. A possible date would be Sunday, Nov. 30 -- but date and time are yet to be determined. Make plans to light up your Christmas season with this concert.
Tickets will be available from Salina Chorale members until the Monday before the concert, and then pay at the door just before the concert in the narthex of Sacred Heart Cathedral on concert day. Adults are $15, High School Students are $10, and younger children are admitted free!

The next Salina Symphony Christmas Festival concerts (with Salina Chorale members in the symphony chorus) will be mid-Dec. 2025 -- most likely 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 and 4 p.m. Sunday Dec. 14, 2025 (yet to be confirmed).
The 2025 Salina Symphony "Christmas Festival" concert performances will be performed in the Steifel Theatre for the Performing Arts in downtown Salina, KS.
Members of the Salina Chorale and the KWU Chorale will serve as the symphony chorus during the first half of this concert, and at the grand finale.
